Practice Focus: 
Claire practices in civil litigation with a concentration in medical malpractice defense. Claire has experience defending hospitals, physicians, dentists, nurses, nursing homes and other ancillary medical care providers in medical malpractice cases.  She handles all aspects of litigated medical malpractice matters, from pre-suit discovery through post-trial appeals.  Claire received her undergraduate degree from Emory University in 2008 and graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2011.  She is admitted to practice law in New York State and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.

While in law school, Claire served as an Associate Editor of the Oregon Law Review and also competed in the National Tax Moot Court Competition in Tampa, Florida for two consecutive years.  In addition, she served as a judicial law clerk at the Oregon Tax Court for the Hon. Henry C. Breithaupt.  After graduating from the University of Oregon, Claire served as a judicial clerk at the Appellate Division, Third Department in Albany, New York.  Before joining Osborn, Reed & Burke, Claire was an associate at Damon Morey LLP in Buffalo, New York, where she defended medical malpractice cases.

Claire has served as a volunteer tutor for the Lawyers for Learning program.  She is also an avid long-distance runner.
