Practice Focus: 
Jennifer practices in civil litigation with a concentration in both education law and labor and employment.  

Prior to attending law school, Jennifer had the unique opportunity to work as a Teach for America teacher in an inner-city urban setting.  Jennifer blended her passion for education and the law and worked as a law clerk for an education law firm during law school. She graduated law school in 2012 with her J.D., a Masters in the Cultural Foundations of Education and a Certificate in Disability Law and Policy.  Jennifer represents schools districts in all facets of their operation, including, but not limited to, issues relating to: student and employee discipline; contract interpretation and negotiations; FERPA; student residency; interpretation of school policies and procedures; and regulatory compliance.  Jennifer also represents municipalities.

Prior to joining the Firm, Jennifer practiced family law, disability law, federal labor and employment and security clearance law where she regularly represented federal employees in EEOC, Merit Systems Protection Board and NYS Division of Human Rights investigations.  She also helped establish the first legal office at a VA Medical Center campus in Canandaigua, N.Y. and remains committed to providing local veterans with access to legal services.

Jennifer is an active member of the Monroe County Bar Association, Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys (GRAWA) and is Co-Chair of the Communications Committee for the New York State Bar Young Lawyers Section.  Jennifer also is an avid road cyclist and indoor cycling instructor at Midtown Athletic Club.
